Truly grateful

Hello, friends!
A CAS card on my blog today.

This card is also special for me as this is the first time I made an attempt of freehand watercolour designing.

With no idea of how to go about it, I simply began to paint flowers and leaves and went with the flow. I also outlined few of them in form of doodling, but somehow this subtle one looked more fitting than the doodled one.
I completely loved the outcome and so it went out in the making of this card.

Over to my card...
As mentioned above, I began with water-colouring few florals/leaves on a Fabriano watercolour paper, basically sticking to the yellows, oranges and greens. I die-cut this panel with a DCAM stitched rectangle die. Stamped the sentiment on a black CS with Versamark and heat embossed it with white EP. For the assembling part, I took a grey textured base card of size 4"x6". Adhered the water coloured panel on the base with some sticky tape and later mounted the sentiment using foam adhesive.

It was so very exciting to play with the water colours.
Would really love to hear your feedback on this trial.

Thank you for dropping by.

Krafty cards

Hello!!!
I am here with three cards with a Kraft base.
It took me quite some time to work out some CAS cards on a Kraft BG.
But I loved working on it.

Onto my cards...

Card 1

I made this card using "Flower Stamps" set from Technique Tuesday.
I stamped the flower, butterfly and dragonflies using Versamark.
Heat embossed it with white EP. Splattered some white paint to add some elements.
Lastly, Stamped the sentiment from the same set with black Memento on a white strip and mounted it on the card using foam adhesive.

Card 2

For this card I used Simon says Stamp - Stacking Animals stamp set.
I stamped the larger bird on the CS using black Memento and stacked the smaller bird over it. Added some shading towards the feet part. Stamped the sentiment. Lastly added googly eyes to the birds.

Card 3

For this card, I used the birds from the Lawn Fawn Hippo Birdie and Elphie Selfie stamp set.
Stamped and coloured them. Stamped and coloured the balloon from the Hippo Birdie set. Layered the balloons with the birds. On the Kraft CS I stamped the birthday cap from the same set using brown pigment ink. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white EP.
Assembled it all on to the base CS using foam adhesive. Finished the birds and the balloons with glossy accents.

Enjoyed making them all.
So which one is your favourite?

Would love to hear from you.

We are so grateful!!!

Hello!!
A card over my blog today.
Finally, managed using the stamp set I have been hoarding for the past 1 month.

A Paper Smooches stamp set.

Here's a look at my card.

I stamped the image from the "We adore you" stamp set from Paper Smooches on a white cardstock.
Coloured the image with pencil colours. Die-cut the image using DCAM circle die.
Took a Textured white card as my base. Cut a small strip of pattern paper and adhered it along with a thin strip of washi tape on the base CS.
Mounted the die-cut image on the card with foam adhesive.
Stamped the sentiment and mounted it overlapping the image with foam adhesive.
Later, die-cut small hearts from Paper Smooches Tiny Hearts die set.
Adhered 3 hearts together to form dimensional hearts. Placed them on the card.
Lastly coated the hearts with Glossy accents.

Sketch card.

Hello, Friends..

I have three cards here on the blog today
All the three cards are based on a single Sketch.

Let's have a look one by one.

CARD 1

For the semicircle BG, I began with blending blue and green DI till I got the desired effect and Die-cut the semi-circle shape.

Took a white cardstock and mounted the pattern paper on it such that a 1/2" small section of the white CS is seen.

Next mounted the die-cut semicircle on this with foam adhesive. Die-cut the birdhouses and birds using MFT birdhouses. Adhered them to the semi-circle.
Lastly stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and mounted it on the card.

Few more pics of the card

CARD 2

The semicircle BG in this card was again done using DI blending over heat embossed stars and some white paint splatters. Later die-cut into the semicircle shape.
On a white CS a textured cardstock is mounted leaving a 1/2" white CS margin. Next mounted the semicircle on this with foam adhesive. Stamped, coloured and mounted the Owl on the card using foam adhesive. Lastly, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using foam adhesive.
The Owl and sentiment from the MFT Owl Yours stamp set.

CARD 3

Last card and my Favourite of them all.

I used a Light blue coloured textured CS mounted on a white card as the base for this card. Die-cut a semicircle on a white CS. Mounted it on the base so that the semicircle die-cut looks through the blue paper underneath. Stamped and coloured the fence, pig, flowers, etc. from the MFT Hog Heaven stamp set. Assembled the fence and the pig over the semi-circle using foam adhesive. Mounted the heat embossed sentiment using foam adhesive. Adhered the flowers and a bird over the card to add elements.

Few more pics

Like I mentioned the last one is my favourite. Which one did you like more?

It was a pleasure having you here. Thank you for dropping by.

Birthday LO

Hello, Crafters!

It's time for a new challenge at Craft Rocket challenge blog

The theme for the challenge is Anything goes

For a change, this time I made a layout (instead of a card) as my DT inspiration.

For the layout, I took a lime green coloured textured cardstock (8"x8") as my base. Cut strips from few other colourful patterned paper. Layered them at various levels and mounted them on the base CS. Stuck strips of colourful washi tapes at one side. Adhered a sentiment from a paper pack at the bottom.
I die-cut the main sentiment from Tim Holtz Sizzix Celebration Words Script Thinlit dies. Layered 3 die-cuts over each other to form a thick sentiment. I fussy cut, 2 layered, top banner and adhered it in a slant fashion. Adhered a blank white CS to hold the photograph (I have actually made this layout for someone but didn't want to give it out by adding his photo right now. :-)) Mounted the sentiment.
Lastly, added some stickers and die-cuts to complete the project.

Hope I could inspire you to make something different.
Thank you for dropping by.

Christmas in July

Hello!!
A New Challenge begins today at Fabrika Fantasy.

Theme for the challenge is "Christmas in July"

Here's my DT inspiration for the same.

I have used Young Marguerite for this card.

It's a wonderful image to work with. Do check it out at the store

I coloured the Digi and fussy cut it. I mounted Christmas coloured pattern papers on a white CS. Tied a golden with red lace on the overlap of the papers. Stuck to leaf die-cuts on one side and mounted my Digi onto it with foam adhesive. Adhered a sticker of the bells/holly leaf on one corner. Stuck few flowers to add some element. Lastly added a sentiment to the card.

Here's another look of my card.

Some TAGS with the images!!!

Mounted the grass layers and the cool chicks, at different levels, on three different tags individually. Stamped sentiments on each. Added few sequins to add some elments. Lastly tied a twine through the punched hole.

There the tags are ready!!!
