Guest Designing for Stamplorations # 2

Hello friends...

It's another Digital Wednesday over at the Stamplorations blog where we share Beautiful inspirations using the Digital stamps by Stamplorations.
You can check the digital images out here.

Here's my first card using one of the images from the bundle.

I printed the image on a watercolor paper, Coloured with Zig markers and fussy cut the image. On a white card base, I popped the fussy-cut image using foam tape, at the bottom.
Die-cut the "Happy" sentiment twice from white cardstock. Adhered the die-cuts and a heat-embossed sentiment strip.

Second card with another image

For my second card, I printed the image on watercolor cardstock. Colored the images using Fluorescent colored Zig markers.
I popped this panel on a card base. Die-cut the "Hello" sentiment twice. Adhered the double layered sentiment. Embellished the card with a few sequins.

Un-BEElievable - T4T

Hello!!
I have recently started liking these long cards which makes a complete scene in itself. I have also come to know that these long cards are known as DL (Dimension lengthwise) cards. They usually measure 8"x4".

Today I am sharing another DL sized card. You may find my first one over here.

I made this card as my DT post for Time for Tea Designs.
I have used their Bee Happy stamp and die set and the Honeycomb stencil.

I began by roughly adding Squeezed lemonade DO over a white panel. Added Mustard seed DI through the stencil.
Stamped the images and coloured them with Zig markers. Die-cut them using the coordinating dies.
On a card base, I foam mounted the stencilled panel.
Adhered all the images to the card to create a scene.
Adhered a sentiment strip.
Added a few sequins to adorn the card.

All the products are available in the store.
You can avail a 10% discount storewide using my code T4TANILA10.

Guest Designing for Stamplorations #1

Hello friends...
I am so excited to share my first post as a Guest Designer with Stamplorations, showcasing their Digital Stamps.

I am sharing two simple cards today using a single digital bundle named
This bundle has got 6 frames with beautiful floral arrangements around it.
I loved the frames so much that I used them for both my cards.

I printed both the images on a watercolor paper.
Colored them with Zig markers and fussy cut them both.

For the first card, I decided to go for a CAS design. On a top-folding card base, I simply adhered the fussy cut image towards the bottom and embellished the card using a few sequins. The sentiment is from my stash.

For the second card, I adhered a pattern paper under my floral framed image. The sentiment on this card was printed while printing the image.

There is a blog hop at Stamplorations. Hop along, leave a comment here and on the blogs of all the other Guest Designers to stand a chance of winning $15 to the Stamplorations store.

Happy Bday - (Altenew - Book club)

 Hello friends...
With the new 30-day colouring challenge by Kathy going on, it's time to explore and try/use new stamps.
I have used the Altenew's Book club stamp set today.
As you can see I couldn't stop at one card, I had to make three.

I stamped them all on the watercolour paper and coloured with Zig markers.
I had no intention of making them into cards. But The stamp design is such that you do not need any other details on the cards. So making cards was quicker.
To make it look as a whole, I stamped some leaves from Altenew Painted flowers on two cards. On one card with grey ink and on the other with green ink.
On the third card, I stamped the same florals from the Book Club stamp in grey ink across one border.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the dye inks for background stamping are by Lawn Fawn.

Individual pictures.

That's all for today.

I am still learning the skills of water colouring and would really appreciate any tips or feedback for improvement.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello friends...
A New challenge is up at Inkspirational challenges.

My Inspiration card.

I have used Boris The Bunny stamp set by Jane's Doodles.
I used the two floral stamps from the set.
Stamped the images on a watercolor paper. Coloured with Zigs.
Did some freehand water colouring at the bottom. Stamped a few butterflies and the sentiment.

On a card base, I foam mounted the panel with a pattern paper matting.
Added a few pearls to the centres of the flowers.

Ice Cream solves everything

Hello friends!
Here today sharing a slim and long card
(I am sorry, I don't what such cards are called)
This is a different card size from my usual 4"x6".

It was on my mind since a very long time and finally, here it is.
I have used Newton's Nook "Summer Treats" stamp set for the card.

I began by stamping all the images from the set on a watercolor paper.
Colored them all with Zig markers and fussy cut them all. I blended Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade distress oxide to create the background.
Splattered a few water droplets. Stamped the sentiment.
I took a base measuring 4"x8". Foam mounted the ink blended panel on it.
Foam mounted the images. Lastly added few sequins over the card.

I started with the thought of colouring the cats in grey.
But later changed my mind and coloured them in brown.

So you see, One of them is differently colored...lol...
I decided to go ahead with the same image and pass a much-needed message to the world!!

Love has no color.
Say NO to Racism.

And just as my card says "Ice-cream solves everything"!!

Bee happy - T4T

Hello friends,
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Weekends are my time for sharing my DT posts for Time for Tea designs.

So here I am today, with this Bee Hive card.
I have used the Hexagon dies and the Bee Happy stamp set from the store.

I began by die-cutting the hexagon shape using a shaded yellow paper from Itsy Bitsy. I die-cut the shape multiple times. I die-cut a white hexagon using one size larger die.
Stamped the sentiment on the white one.

On a card base, I arranged and adhered all the hexagons to create the pattern. Foam mounted the white in one corner. Stamped and coloured the Bee. Die-cut the bee using the coordinating die. Adhered this image to the card.
Lastly, added few sequins to the card.

Heat embossed the inner detailed lines in gold. Matted a white strip with pink and foam mounted it across the design. Adhered the sentiment. Added a few Nuvo drops.
