Happy Birthday (Wallpaper art)

Hello!!
A set of new cards on my blog today using the Wallpaper art stamp set by Altenew.
I have also tried the No-line colouring technique for both of them.

The images are watercoloured using Zig clean brush markers.
Both the cards are the same in design except for the colouring part.

 Card 1

The colouring here is in lighter tones.
I did just a single layer of colouring and shading here.
I did some background stamping in green. Adhered the leaves and popped the flower against them.

Card 2

I have done multiple layers of colouring here. Adding colours to build up the layers.
I have also added some pencil detailing using Faber Castell Polychromos.
Here, I did some background stamping in grey.
Adhered the leaves and popped the flower against them.

Embellished the cards using some sequins by Studio Katia. Stamped the sentiment and foam mounted the panels on a card base.

Treat Yo'self - NND

Hello
Sharing a quick card for the current Inky Paws sketch challenge.

Here is the card!!

As I mentioned this was a very quick card.
I had recently coloured these cute kittens from the Summer Treats stamp set for the Daily Marker by Kathy Racoosin. All I had to do was just put all the elements together as per the sketch and my card was ready in a jiffy.

I have used washi tape with a paw print. I also stencilled the sun rays on the circle to show the kitten enjoying his ice-cream in the scorching sun. Hehehe...

Who's missing you... MFT

Hello!!
A quick card and my last one for the MFT Camp Create 2019. A slider card!!
Frankly, I am not happy with this card. I began with a design where I did some ink-blended background, which got messed up. And it couldn't be rectified no matter what!
So finally, I pulled apart all the elements of that card and made this one.
I didn't take the risk of ink-blending this time. Kept it super simple.
Hope you like it.

I have used the MFT Flashy Florals stamp set and an image from the Hog Heaven stamp set. The sentiment is from the I am Owl yours set.

Guest Designing for Stamplorations # 4

Hello friends!!
It's Wednesday again and time for the Digital Wednesday inspirations over at Stamplorations blog.

Here are my projects using various digital images from the store

My first card features Cupful of blooms digital bundle

I coloured the image using Zig markers. On a card base, I created the background using distress inks and Artplorations - Shower of flutters stencil. Foam mounted the digital image. Adhered a sentiment to it.

My second project is a set of cup-shaped cards which can even be used as openable tags.
I am showcasing Spring blooms and mugs digital bundle.

I watercoloured the images using Zig markers. Fussy cut the image. Using a craft knife, I cut through the handle of the mug. I adhered the image on a folded card base. Cut the base in the cup shape and through the handle of the cup. Tied ribbons through it.
For the Orange flower, I cut the flower apart from the cup and popped it up on foam tape to give an additional dimension to the card. (See the pop in the close-up)
Added sentiment stickers.

Thanks - Remarkable resist

Hello!
A card with heat Embossing and ink-blending.
I have used MFT dotted stripes background stamp and MFT LLD alphabets for this card.

White heat embossed the background. Ink blended various coloured distress inks.
I die cut the panel using border dies. Foam mounted the panel on a card base.
Die cut the alphabets in coloured cardstock and black foam. Adhered them together. The black foam below gave a fine outline to the alphabets.
Stamped and foam mounted the sentiment under it.

Bee Happy - T4T

Hello!!!
Here's a card I made as my DT post for Time for Tea Designs.
I am using my Favorite Bee Happy stamp set.

On a watercolour card panel, I stencilled the hexagon pattern with some grainy texture paste. Once the paste was dry, I again placed the stencil over the design and sprayed yellow colour splash generously. I let it drip a little too. I removed the stencil and just pressed it inverted(where there was the colour spray on the stencil) over the bottom part of the panel. The colour got transferred to the panel. I even splattered a few drops of the same colour.
Stamped, coloured and die-cut all the images. Foam mounted the panel on a card base.
Adhered all the elements and the stencil to complete the scene.

Hello friend - MFT Shaker

Hello friends,
I made this simple Shaker card for the MFT Camp Create - Spectacular shakers.

I have used two tiny images from the Snuggle Bunnies stamp set by MFT.
The Shaker windows are die-cut using a speech bubble die which I once received as a freebie with my purchase. I have used it for the first time.

Snuggle Bunnies

Hello friends!

Sharing a set of two mini 4"x4" cards.
I have used the Snuggle Bunnies stamp set by MFT for both my cards.

The background for both the cards is a watercolor wash made using Zig markers and water.
For the first card, I watercolored the background and popped the images over it. While on the second card, I adhered the image flat on the card and watercolored around the edges of the image.

Guest Designing for Stamplorations # 3

Hello friends,
I am back at the blog with my post for the Digital Wednesdays for Stamplorations.
Check out all the inspirations posts over here

I have two cards today using the Coffee and Roses digital bundle. This bundle has 10 images and a set of some bonus tags. I printed the tags and a framed image.
Coloured the images using Zig markers and fussy cut them.

First Card

I have used About a Rose stamp set from the store and grey ink to create the background. Stamped the sentiment. Foam mounted the tag on the card.

Set of a card and a tag.

On a white card base, I did some stencilling using white shimmer paste. Foam mounted the framed image on the card. I also coloured a matching tag for the card. The stencilling is visible in the angular picture.
