Mini- LOVE CANVAS

Hello, everyone!

I am sharing a Mini canvas art today.
A "LOVE CANVAS" as I would like to call it.

I picked up a very tiny 4"x4" canvas for this. I sprayed them with colour splash (Tangerine, Hot pink, Lime splash) randomly to cover the canvas completely. After heat-drying the canvas, I stuck a doily in the centre of it. Adhered 2 glitter washi tapes at the bottom.

I used a small white circular die cut (Scallop circle die from Itsy bitsy) and stuck some message sentiments on it. This is covered with a larger die-cut in patterned paper with acetate window in the centre.

I embellished the canvas with flowers and a message sentiment at the top.

So my mini canvas was ready in minutes.

And it looks so cute and adorable. Don't you agree?

Thank you for dropping by my blog. Do leave some love in the comments below.

Happy BIRD-DAY!

Hellooo....

A late night post just before heading to bed... :)

A happy BIRD-DAY card!!!

I guess the name says it all.

Its the Birthday of "Charlie" and all his friends have gathered together to wish him a very happy birthday!!! hehehehe...
That sounds like a wonderful bedtime story... ;-)

So here we go ...
Charlie is surrounded by all his friends who have just droppped in to wish him a happy birthday!!!

Let's see how they all came together....

All the birdie friends were stamped on a white cardstock, coloured and fussy cut. Charlie "the birthday boy" was stamped on another cardstock and coloured. It was die-cut with a circle die.

The smaller die-cut circle was mounted over the larger die-cut circle and stuck on the base cardstock. The other birdies were arranged all around Charlie!

Lastly came in the BIRD-DAY sentiment.

There the birthday party begins!!!

Thank you for dropping by my blog. Do leave some love in the comments below. I simply love to read them through.

Mixed media - Memories

Hi, Everyone!!

It's almost 9 pm Sunday here.....
I am here with a late evening Sunday inspiration!!

A Mixed media Canvas art piece!

I had made this mixed media canvas for a Swap.

I began with stamping script stamp from Mudra on a  plain white tissue paper. Used this paper to cover the canvas with decoupage glue.
After the glue dried I used Acrylic paints to colour and shade as desired the entire canvas.

Next came in the honeycomb and clock chipboards.
I painted them gold and arranged them in the two corners.

Once it all dried in place I arranged the flowers, leaves, the metal corner, a clay "miss you" pendant etc. I used the Mudra Polka dot butterfly, heat embossed it and fussy cut it.
Arranged it on the canvas. I used some contrast coloured mosaic chips in between to add some element to the entire canvas.

Lastly came a Quotation!  I wanted the quotation to somewhat reflect the message of a clock so have included the sentiment in it.

TADAAAA ..

My canvas is ready for Swap!!!
(Psst... By the time this post goes live, it must have already reached my swap partner... hope she likes it!! :))

Shaker Fridge magnets

Hello, everyone!
I am so very happy to share a very fun-filled and very cute creation with you all.
Die-cut fridge magnets!

I had lots of fun creating these magnets. The most important and fun part about this is that these fridge magnets can be made in absolutely any theme.
You think of it and it can be done.
Just imagine!!
These can be a wonderful gift for kids.

Sit back and enjoy the post.
(Warning - This is a picture heavy post!!!)

Owl Magnet !!
This is a shaker magnet. I have used green and brown shaker elements to give the effect of nature. The die-cuts are also green coloured. A die-cut leaf is attached with an owl sticker embellishing it. Attach a magnet sheet from behind.

Little Birdie!!
This is again a Shaker magnet. I have stamped the birdie image and the sentiment on the inside and used tiny heart die-cuts as the shaker elements. Flowers are used for embellishing. Attach a magnet sheet from behind.

Nemo Magnet!!
The Nemo-magnet is a scene magnet and not a shaker magnet. All the elements inside are stuck on the inner paper. The fish goes on the top. This gives a great 3D effect in actual (unable to catch that in the photo) Used Chevron print blue paper inside to give the water effect. Attach a magnet sheet from behind.

  Flower magnet!!
Again a Shaker magnet. Stamped a sentiment inside and used tiny floral shaker elements. Embellished the magnet with some beautiful flowers. Attach a magnet sheet from behind.

There they are!! My Fridge magnets!!!

How do you like them? So when are you trying your own?
Do let me know if you ever try them!
Please do leave your feedback in the comments below, would be absolutely delighted to read through them.

    Matchbox pop-up card

    Hello Everyone!

Today at the blog I am again with yet another Valentine's project.

A Matchbox pop-up card to express your love!!

If you wish to make one similar to this follow the steps given below.

    To begin with
    • I took a Black cardstock (Approx. 7.5" x 3.5")
    • Score the paper at the intervals of 1/2", 3.5", 4", 7" (Basicallly dividing the paper as shown in the diagram)
    • Fold the papers at every interval and stick the ends to form the cover for the matchbox. (Sorry guys....I forgot to click pictures while making it...Please refer the hand-drawn instructions...hope they help :(....)

    • Cut a pattern paper a little smaller than the top size. Stick it on the top.
    • Take another cardstock approx. 4" x 4.5"
    • Score at 1/2" on all 4 sides.
    • Trim and fold up the sides and glue together to form a box.

    • Next take 3 strips of size 3" x 1/2" and score them in the centre.
    • Fold them in half and stick one end of each into the box. These become the stand for our pop-ups
    • Now cut hearts of different sizes and different patterned papers.
    • Arrange them on the stands inside the box.
    • Stick them randomly over one other (Make sure they all fit into the box with they are pushed down)
    • Stick a pop-up sentiment.
    • Insert this box into the cover we made earlier.
    • Decorate the top of the cover.
    • Tie a ribbon around the cover.
    • Stamp and cut a sentiment. Add a tiny heart.

There the Pop-up matchbox card is ready!!

Thank you for hopping over my blog.
    Hope to see you soon.
