Happy Birthday (Wallpaper art)

Hello!!
A set of new cards on my blog today using the Wallpaper art stamp set by Altenew.
I have also tried the No-line colouring technique for both of them.

The images are watercoloured using Zig clean brush markers.
Both the cards are the same in design except for the colouring part.

 Card 1

The colouring here is in lighter tones.
I did just a single layer of colouring and shading here.
I did some background stamping in green. Adhered the leaves and popped the flower against them.

Card 2

I have done multiple layers of colouring here. Adding colours to build up the layers.
I have also added some pencil detailing using Faber Castell Polychromos.
Here, I did some background stamping in grey.
Adhered the leaves and popped the flower against them.

Embellished the cards using some sequins by Studio Katia. Stamped the sentiment and foam mounted the panels on a card base.

Thank you for stopping by!

Altered Bottle

Hello Everyone!

Came up with yet another Holiday project!! Hope you people will like it.

An altered glass bottle!

I have loads of things piled up in my so-called "to do" list. Piled for quite sometime now.

Nothing in my house will ever make it to the dustbin/scraps i guess.

Having said so I have been piling up these small glass bottles for many many days (or is it years......considering the no of bottles with me...??....) now :-D

In India, we get flavored milk in these bottles. So after every dose of milk, the bottles are cleaned and stashed up for some form of repurpose.

Finally i could bring myself up to refurbish these two lucky bottles.
Now they are as good as new....

The bottles are covered with a decoupage paper having red roses. The top I wanted to cover with some form of cords...I always find, covering the top with a paper, little bit tedious...what with the tapering shape.
Cords are easier ... :-D

In one I have used the paper strings and jute thread for the other. Both of them give different looks. The paper strings giving a more polished look as the jute gives a more rustic look.

On the jute one I added some decorations like the feathers (red , green xmas colors) , some flowers, a set of bells tied with twine (Christmas season is incompete with bells... ;-) ) and a butterfly!

On the second one, I added different types of flowers, a Holly leaf with cherries, a set of bells tied around with a twine and a little sentiment of "happy holidays" !

TADAAA......There its done!!
It can now be used for displaying some articial flowers... I want to try putting an LED inside to illuminate a corner ... can also be used as it is as a Display piece... what say??

It actuallly didn't take all that long to refurbish the bottles...
Hopefully the beautification of all my bottles will happen soon.. ;-)

New year resolution.....hahahah...

Hopefully you guys like my Altered creation of the bottle.

Hello all,

Today's project is a gift tag!

To start with, I have stuck a patterned paper on a White cardstock, leaving a white border to be seen from all sides. Next in line was sticking of the feathers, then the burlap border strip.

The burlap strip was further decorated with a flower and a button embellishments, basically to add more colours to the project.

The last but definitely not the least came in the message elevated little bit to create different dimension. And then came in the string of pearls to brighten it all up.
A colourful Ribbon to tie it around.

That's it !
Thank you for dropping at my Blog!

Jewellery box

Good evening friends!!

A jewellery box for today.

I have tried to strike a contrast of red and white.

Tried using all possible coloured embellishments on the top decorations to make it more colourful and lively.

Treasure all your precious and prized pieces of jewellery in this box. A perfect gift to a loved one!

A walk down the memory lane!!

Happy treasuring.
