Elphie thanks

Hello friends!

As mentioned in my previous post here, I am back with another card I made for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge. The challenge theme is to CASE yourself. You can check the card which I have CASED here.

 This is my second CASE of that card. You can check the First CASE here. 

For this card, I used all the same elements from my previous card. I just played around the elements a little differently this time. 

The Elephant image and the thank you sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set. Balloons are from the year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. The sentiment is stamped with various coloured LF dye inks.

Here, I have popped the image on a white panel which is mounted over a strip of rainbow paper. Multicoloured sentiment stamped on three sides.

Hippo Birdie Thanks

Hello friends!!!

I have a "Thank you" card to share with you today. Some of you may have already seen a similar card made by me some time back. You can check it out here. I had made this card for the LawnFawnatics challenge back then. 

And the reason for making a similar card again is the current Lawn fawnatics challenge, where the theme is to "CASE Yourself". 

In fact, I Cased two cards from the same design. Sharing the first one here. 

The other one will follow in the next blog post.

For my current card, I have used the Year four stamp set. I replace the Elphie from my previous card with a Hippo and a cute birdie. All the images are from the Year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid paper pack and the "thank you" sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set. 

I have used the Lawn Fawn dye ink cubes for the multicolour stamping.

Here is a set of cards I made for the new challenge where the theme is Word prompt - CASE

CASE a card made by you or by someone else.

I have Cased one of my own cards which I had made some time in the month of March. 

You may find that card HERE. 

This card is one of THE most popular and THE most viewed card on my blog. I am so humbled by all the love it has received so far. I so love this card myself that I decided to make a couple of them more.  

For the first card, I cased the design as it was on my original card. I have used the same Lawn Fawn stamps for it. 

While the second card was made into a girly theme using stamps by Itsy Bitsy.

Happy Place

Hello friends!

I found how easy and quick it is to put a card together, especially if you have all the elements for the card ready with you. Yeah...it does require some homework at the back of our minds, but once the design is set it can be assembled very quickly. 

I have a box full of images all coloured. Some of them are even fussy-cut and ready to go. Many of these images are a result of participating in the Daily marker organised by Kathy Racoosin. Some of these images are the extras I make while making any project.

Today's card is made using some supplies from my treasure box...hehehe...

Hi!

I am here with a new CAS card creation. 

For this card, I have used the Wplus9 Hainpainted florals stamp set.

 I have been hoarding this stamp set for quite a while now, but never had the courage to use it. 

Today, came across some lovely creation that inspired me to make something out of this set. 

Here's my card

On a white card panel, I stamped the floral layers from the stamp set. I began by stamping the biggest flower twice next to each other. The second biggest was stamped once. Then came the leaves, the tiny flowers, and all the fillers. For all the stamping I used a combination of Dye Inks and Pigment inks(Listed below). After the layering all the stamps, I trimmed the card panel and mounted it on a pastel green CS. Stamped the sentiment. Lastly, added few dew drops to add some elements to the card.

The inks used by me are as follows -

Pink flowers layered as - Versacraft Bubble gum ->Distress oxide Worn lipstick -> Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo dye ink

Yellows layered as - Lawn Fawn Sunflower dye ink -> LawnFawn Carrot dye ink

Greens layered as - Lawn Fawn Celery stick dye ink -> Lawn Fawn Freshly cut grass dye ink

Blues - LawnFawn Merman dye ink -> LawnFawn Peacock dye ink

Colourful thanks

Hello!!

A New card on my blog today using the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie stamp set.

Here's a look at the card.

For the card

I took a 1 1/2" strip of a paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly plaid paper stack. 

Marked the position of the strip on a white card panel with a pencil. 

I then stamped the sentiment "thank you" with various Lawn Fawn inks (Plastic Flamingo, Carrot, Merman, Peacock) and Versa color green pigment ink) along the lines. Adhered the pattern paper strip on the marked lines. 

Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the Elephant (from Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie set) and the balloons (from the Hippo birthday set). 

Arranged and stuck the balloons overlapping each other. Adhered the balloons to the elephant trunk. 

Mounted this completely with foam adhesive on the card. Covered the balloons with glossy accents to give them a shiny look.

Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a black CS and mounted it with foam adhesive.
