Elphie thanks

Hello friends!

As mentioned in my previous post here, I am back with another card I made for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge. The challenge theme is to CASE yourself. You can check the card which I have CASED here.

My current card

The card I cased!

This is my second CASE of that card. You can check the First CASE here
For this card, I used all the same elements from my previous card. I just played around the elements a little differently this time.
The Elephant image and the thank you sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set. Balloons are from the year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. The sentiment is stamped with various coloured LF dye inks.
Here, I have popped the image on a white panel which is mounted over a strip of rainbow paper. Multicoloured sentiment stamped on three sides.

Two more pictures!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hippo Birdie Thanks

Hello friends!!!

I have a "Thank you" card to share with you today. Some of you may have already seen a similar card made by me some time back. You can check it out here. I had made this card for the LawnFawnatics challenge back then.
And the reason for making a similar card again is the current Lawn fawnatics challenge, where the theme is to "CASE Yourself".

In fact, I Cased two cards from the same design. Sharing the first one here.
The other one will follow in the next blog post.

Here's my current card!!

My previous card!! You can check out the post here

For my current card, I have used the Year four stamp set. I replace the Elphie from my previous card with a Hippo and a cute birdie. All the images are from the Year four stamp set. Rainbow paper is from the Perfectly Plaid paper pack and the "thank you" sentiment is from the Elphie Selfie stamp set.
I have used the Lawn Fawn dye ink cubes for the multicolour stamping.

Few more pictures!!

Thank you for stopping by.
Do check out my next post!!

Spread happiness... Faux stained glass

Hi!
Here's a simple CAS card made using Faux stain glass technique.

I have used the floral stamps by Winnie and Walter.
I didn't have the coordinating die for the flower. So for the technique to work, I stamped the florals with light grey ink. Using a 3D liner in white, I covered the entire design. This created the necessary dimension to the design.
Once the outline was dry, I coloured the image with Zig markers. Fussy cut the image.
On a card base, I stamped the sentiment from my stash. Foam mounted the floral arrangement.
Lastly, I covered the image completely with Glossy accents to create the faux stained glass effect. Before this layer dried, I lightly sprinkled some snowy glitter over the image to get a shimmery look (check the close-up)

I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the focal image. On a white card base, I stamped the same image using grey ink. Stamped the sentiment with black Memento ink. Lastly, adhered the coloured image on the grey image.

Well done Champ!!!

Hi!
It's Saturday again and time for my Time for Tea designs card.
Here it is!!

I have used their digital stamp for this card. I just loved this image. As I always fall short of cards for Men/Boys I decided to use this today. And also because son loves football...hehe
Coloured the image with Zig markers and fussy cut them. On a card base, adhered the pattern paper, stamped the sentiment. I hand wrote the "Champion". Stamped a few stars using grey ink. Lastly, Foam mounted the image.

Bloom where you are planted.

 Hi friends...!
Here's a quick floral card!

I had this floral image from Altenew already coloured and fussy cut.
I simply assembled all the pieces together to make this card.
Traced the floral outline with fine dots using Memento black pen.
Lastly, added few pink Nuvo drops.

This was a last-minute card, I made when I suddenly came across this paper from my stash.

Hydrangea Thanks

Hello!
Today, I have these set of cards with Hydrangea florals from a stamp set by Winnie & Walter.
I had won this set in one of their challenges. Since I received the set, my hands were itching to colour these Hydrangeas.

Finally, I made these today.

I initially started off with no-line colouring. I stamped the flowers with light purple ink and the stem and leaves with green ink on a watercolour paper. After spending a lot of time colouring and using a combination of various colours I achieved this result. I used pink, light and dark shades of violet and blue to get these shades. Similarly, for the stem and leaves, I used three different shades of green and brown.
But, I was extremely unhappy with the coloured image. It looked a complete mess.

Luckily, I was using a stamping platform and had not removed the Hydrangeas after stamping. So I went back and stamped the image with black ink. The leaves and stem were stamped freehand.
I must say, the resulting effect made me real happy.

I die-cut the sentiment using the smaller "Thanks" cutaway, in a violet paper. Adhered the sentiment and foam mounted the panel on a top-folding card base. Lastly, added a few sparkling dots to the centres of the flowers. (Check the close-up view)
