    Slider card

    Hello, Friends!!

My first attempt at a Slider card today.
    Here are the pictures!!!

I have clicked the pictures on various backgrounds to highlight the effect.

I stamped the Piggy images and the fence from the Hog Heaven stamp set from My Favorite Things. Coloured and fussy cut them. Stuck the Piggies on a Slider panel. Then layered the Fence and Grass over it.  Stamped the sentiment on the slider strip.
Fussy cut few clouds and stuck on the base. Stamped flowers with white ink on the grass.
Layered the panel on the white CS and later on a base cardstock.

    Few more pictures

    Shakers with sequins

    Hello, everyone!!

I recently had this wonderful opportunity of doing a Guest Design post for Itsy Bitsy
A GD post with the newly launched Sequins Medley at the store.

Do check out the post here and leave some love.

I have one of the projects from there over here.

    Shaker cards

Here is a set of two shaker cards.
I have used the Gold Fizz and the Angel wings sequins here respectively.

For both the cards, I began with colour texture papers from my stash and die-cut them with a stitched circle die. Attached the acetate sheet and mounted foam adhesives on this panel. I die-cut a contrast coloured circle ring and adhered it around the circle. On a white cardstock, added the sequins and mounted the coloured panel over it. For the blue card, I stamped a sentiment before adding the shaker elements. Lastly, added some sentiments, critters and few sequins to complete the cards.

(Individual pics of the card follows.)

It was great fun playing with these sequins.
Hope you liked the cards as much as I enjoyed making them.

    Remarkable Resist

    Hello, Everyone!!
I am here with one more card today!!

A card with Embossed resist BG.

For this card, I used the My Favorite Things (MFT) Geometrical Greenery stamp set. I began stamping a leaf repeatedly in alternate directions with Versamark. Heat embossed it with white EP. Distressed this panel with Yellow, Blue and Green distress inks. The embossed leaves resisted the inks and remained white. Mounted this panel along with a slightly larger orange textured panel on a white CS. An orange border is seen all around. Stamped the sentiment on a black CS and heat embossed with white EP. Mounted the sentiment on the card with foam adhesive. Lastly added few sequins to add some element.

    Few more pics

    Hope you liked my card.

    Spectacular Shaker

    Hi, Friends!!
I have a cute shaker card here today.

Without much ado, let's move to my card.

I took a white Fabriano cardstock and made a shaker window with a stitched circle die. I Stamped the piggy image and few cupcakes from the Hog Heaven stamp set with black Archival, coloured them with pencil colours and fussy cut them. Stuck two cupcakes from the inside of the shaker window on the base cardstock. Put shaker elements and mounted the top cardstock. Mounted the piggy image with foam adhesive. Stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with white EP. Mounted the sentiment overlapping the window with foam adhesive. Added one cupcake on the sentiment strip. Lastly added few sequins to add some element.

    Watercolour card

    Hello, Everyone....

I am having a watercolour card over here today.

Past few weeks were all busy as kids were having their annual vacations here.
But now vacations are over and kids are back to school. And that means we can get back to our crafting ;-).

So here's my first card after the break!!!

    A Watercolour card!

I took a watercolour card panel. Coloured it with multiple distress inks blending with each other. Trimmed this panel in size to be mounted on my base cardstock.
I die-cut the roses using My Favorite things (MFT) rose die and mounted them on a yellow card. Stamped the leaf from the MFT Geometric Greenery stamp set, heat embossed it and fussy cut it. Stamped the sentiment (from MFT geometric greenery) with Versamark on a black card and heat embossed it with white EP. Assembled it on the watercolour panel.
Lastly, added enamel dots to add some element.
