Thank-you notecards

Hello friends!
Hope you are doing great!

Last week, I made some bulk Thank-you cards on a custom order for a friend. I decided to make some cards which can be reproduced quickly as I didn't have much time on hands. Finally, after a lot of brainstorming designs, I made this set of 4"x4" mini notecards. I have used the Freehand florals stamp set by WPlus9 for my cards. Each card is in a monochromatic scheme, so as to make it more colorful, I made each set of 5 differently colored cards.

Here's the set of cards!

This is just when I came across a beautiful card made by my friend Sandie on Instagram. I realized then that she had made it as her DT project for one of the challenges where the theme was to make a card in 10mins or less.
I found this set of my cards to be perfect for this challenge. I knew they were made at a record speed by me, but I hadn't timed them to know the exact amount of time involved. So today, I recreated one card in the same design, while timing my process.

And I was delighted to see that I completed this card in 5mins 31secs to be exact. (Yeah, I did prepare for it in advance by keeping all the products handy, but that's how it is supposed to be right?)  Yayy...
So very perfect for this challenge. Isn't it...?

Here are few more pictures of these cards!

Look at the beautiful roses...

That's it for today!
Thank you for dropping by!

Thank u card

Hello all

My card for today is based on the new technique shown by Jennifer Mcguire in her very recent video about sentiment background. Check out the youtube link here.

To begin with I took a white card panel from the Dress my craft papers.and distressed it completely using  "Scattered straw".
I then started collecting and arranging all the stamps with similar sentiments on the card panel.
(As I don't have many stamps sets having the "Thank you" sentiment, I could only cover some part of the card panel. But I somehow managed using the stamps repeatedly as per the space available.)

I stamped the sentiments using Brown pigment ink from Itsy Bitsy. Heat set the entire panel. I cut the panel with a DCAM double stitched circle die-cut. Mounted this on a white panel which was later layered on a Kraft cardstock.
I color smooshed a white card panel. Used a butterfly die from Nagashri arts to cut butterflies from this panel. I layered and stuck 3 butterflies one over the other by sticking only the centre part. This gave it a nice dimensional look.

Mounted the butterfly onto the white panel seen through the circle die-cut. Used a ready "Thank you" sticker as the sentiment.
Lastly added few sequins to complete my card.

It was really fun creating this sentiment BG with the stamps.
I hope you liked my card. Do leave your feedback in the comments below.

Anila Dikay.

Thank you Shaker card

Hello friends,

Today's project is a shaker card to convey my gratitude.

Gratitude makes you happier!

Here's a Thank you card for all those people who have been of great help to me, my guides, my philosophers and my true friends.

Hope we all have a very long, wonderful and fulfilling journey. And just like this shaker card, no matter how much we are shaken up in life, we still remain together!

Thank you once again!!

Regards,
