Altered Burlap

Hi!
I have a Burlap altered art over the blog today.

  • Took a piece of chipboard, covered it with burlap.
  • Stencilled the burlap with blue and yellow chalk paint. Also coloured the chipboards with chalk paints and let them dry.
  • Adhered blue and yellow lace at the top and bottom of the board.
  • Arranged the doily, chipboards, leaves, flowers and butterflies on the board.
  • Took a sentiment and some words, distressed it with blue ink at the edges, and mounted them on the board with foam adhesives to give some dimension.
  • The empty spaces are covered with cup sequins to add some element.
  • Adhered a photo in the centre.
Here are few more pictures...

Dress card

Good Evening, friends!

One more "Dress card" over the blog today.

I somehow liked the idea of making the Dress cards.
So simple they are and yet they look absolutely pretty.
It makes an ideal card for any girl.

And the most important thing is it can be made in a short period. So a perfect last minute card for girls.

I cut the card in the dress shape and embellished it with sequins, satin and flowers.

Here's are the pictures.

Dress it up card!

Hello,

I am guest designing at ICR blog for the current challenge of April month

Theme for the challenge is Dress it up!

Here is my inspiration card for the same....

For this card is began with cutting the dress shape of a cardstock. I added the glitter foam sheet in the upper part of the dress. For the flair of the dress I cut a yellow card stock in the shape and embossed it using an embossing folder in my BigShot. I added a lace at the bottom of the dress and tied a satin around the waist. I mounted this using foam adhesive on a red cardstock. Later stamped the sentiment using Versamark and white embossing powder and heat set it. Lastly added flowers and few sequins to add some element.

Thank you for dropping by.

Colourfull card

Hello, everyone!
I am sharing a card based on an unusual mathematical theme of  "Venn diagram"

This is a very interesting concept.
All the Math lovers are surely gonna enjoy making this. I too had fun making it.

Here's my card!

For my card I decided to go with the symmetrical heart shaped die-cuts. I formed three sets of "Venn diagrams" in petal shape.
The first petal of red and yellow intersecting with ornage.
The second petal of yellow and blue intersecting with green.
The third petal of red and blue intersecting with purple.
Everytime the primary colours overlapping each other to form the secondary colours.

All these 3 petals were arranged on a white circle die-cut to form a flower.
The centre portion where all the colours overlap each other is represented by the white circle seen through the gap.
(All colours together make white)

Adhered this flower on a black stitched rectangle. Mounted the black panel on a white card base.
Stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment. Lastly, added few sequins to add some element.

Thank you for droppping by.

Embossed card

Hello!!
A new challenge begins today at Make my Monday blog
The theme for the new challenge is Embossing - Heat or dry.

I am Guest designing for the challenge.

Here is my Inspiration card for the same.

My card features dry embossed BG.

I began with dry embossing the card panel with an Embossing folder in my Bigshot. I later mounted this panel on the card base. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and adhered it to the base with foam adhesive. Embellished the card with flowers and leaves.
That makes my card ready!!!

Thank you for dropping by my blog.
Awaiting to see your projects.
Do drop by the blog and check the inspirations for my DT friends.

Mini Album

Good evening everyone!!

I have been waiting for a long time to post this project.
A Mini album.
(This is a pictorial post, so it is a bit heavy....)

I made this on the basis of a tutorial I found on YouTube with few minor changes as per my requirement. Here is the link to the tutorial.

I have used the Papericious Pattern Collection paper pack for this project and the embellishments are from Itsy Bitsy.

The front panel of the album adorns a Shaker tag with beautiful coloured shaker elements.

Here's a video of the same.

It was fun making this album. Hope you like it too.

Three - in - one cards

Hello, everyone!

Today I have three CAS cards over the blog made using one single stencil.

For all the three cards I have stencilled a piece of cardstock with distress inks, mounted it on a card base and made the card.

Card-1

For this card, I cut a strip from the stencilled cardstock. I mounted this on the card base. Die-cut and layered three butterflies. Stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Adhered the sentiment and the butterfly to the card base with the help of foam adhesive.

Card-2

For this card, I used the stitched rectangle die to cut a panel. I mounted this panel on the card base in a slant fashion. I took a black card strip. Stamped a sentiment and white heat embossed on it. Adhered this strip across the card. Added few flowers and sequins to add elements.

Card - 3

For this card, I mounted the entire stencilled panel on the card base. Die-cut a heart with a brown corrugated sheet. Mounted the heart with foam adhesive over a bunched black thread. Lastly took a black strip. Stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on it. Mounted the strip over the heart.

So all my cards are ready!

I thoroughly enjoyed making them. Hope you liked my cards too!
