I am Owl yours!

Hi!!
I am super excited to participate in the Summer school organised by MFT.
This is an awesome 5-day event, wherein the Design team members teach a new technique everyday.

I am glad that even though the 5-day series is over, we have a few extra days to make the projects and link them to every event.

I have my first card of this series - White space.

Do check out this tutorial by Laurie Willison. You will surely love it.

My card!!

I have used the Owl Yours stamp set for making this card.
Using the rule of one-third, I made this CAS card.

Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the owl and hearts image.
On a white panel, I stamped the other details.
Adhered the images on the panel and foam mounted the panel on a white card base.

Thank you for dropping by.

Many thanks

Hi!
Another card I made for the current Sketch challenge at MFT.

Here's my card

Method:

I took a 3"x3" white card panel. Scored it at 1/4" from all four sides.
Stamped the leaf images in the background using various green inks.
Adhered a die-cut (branch) made using the stitched snowdrift die.
Stamped various leaves around the branch in various green inks.
Mounted this panel on a Card base using foam adhesive.

Stamped the leaf images from MFT Geometric greenery.
Coloured them using Zig clean markers and Aqua brush.
Stamped the sentiment and mounted it on the card using foam adhesive.
Mounted the images on the card using foam adhesives.
Lastly, added few enamel dots to complete the card.

Coloured them using Zig clean brush markers and fussy cut them. Arranged and mounted the images on the frame.
Distressed a strip of paper using green DI. Stamped the sentiment.

Tickled pink

Hi!
I have a CAS card on the blog today.

I have used the My Favorite Things (MFT) Hogs and Heaven stamp set for this card.

I stamped the two images together on a white card panel (to show that they are together). Coloured the images with my pencils colors. Stamped the sentiment. On a white card base adhered a strip of pattern paper from MFT at the bottom. Trimmed the card panel as per the size such that 1" of the strip is visible. Adhered the panel with the stamped images over the card base. Covered the images with Glossy accents to enhance them. A little green coloring at the base of the images. Lastly added a strip of silver at the joint of the card panel and the pattern paper.

(Sorry friends... I am extremely unhappy with the photographs... But the climate here has been cloudy for the past few days... and couldn't get better clicks. I would be trying to click few pictures tomorrow morning again. Hopefully, I do get some clear pictures.)

Thank you for dropping by.
I do love reading through your comments.

Owly Thanks

Hi!
I have a quick shaker card here today.

I made this card for the MFT sketch challenge#345.
Sketch Challenge 345 #mftstamps

For my card
I stamped the sentiment "Many Thanks" from the Geometric Greenery stamp set by MFT along the fold of the card, multiple times (horizontally).
Die-cut a circleular ring for the shaker using circle DCAM dies. Added acetate sheet at the back and foam mounted the window over shaker elements.

Stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.
Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the Owl from the "I am Owl yours" stamp set from MFT. Also stamped and fussy cut the arrow.
Mounted the Owl and the arrow with foam adhesive.

Thank you for droppping by my blog.

Sketch card.

Hello, Friends..

I have three cards here on the blog today
All the three cards are based on a single Sketch.

Let's have a look one by one.

CARD 1

For the semicircle BG, I began with blending blue and green DI till I got the desired effect and Die-cut the semi-circle shape.

Took a white cardstock and mounted the pattern paper on it such that a 1/2" small section of the white CS is seen.

Next mounted the die-cut semicircle on this with foam adhesive. Die-cut the birdhouses and birds using MFT birdhouses. Adhered them to the semi-circle.
Lastly stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and mounted it on the card.

Few more pics of the card

CARD 2

The semicircle BG in this card was again done using DI blending over heat embossed stars and some white paint splatters. Later die-cut into the semicircle shape.
On a white CS a textured cardstock is mounted leaving a 1/2" white CS margin. Next mounted the semicircle on this with foam adhesive. Stamped, coloured and mounted the Owl on the card using foam adhesive. Lastly, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using foam adhesive.
The Owl and sentiment from the MFT Owl Yours stamp set.

CARD 3

Last card and my Favourite of them all.

I used a Light blue coloured textured CS mounted on a white card as the base for this card. Die-cut a semicircle on a white CS. Mounted it on the base so that the semicircle die-cut looks through the blue paper underneath. Stamped and coloured the fence, pig, flowers, etc. from the MFT Hog Heaven stamp set. Assembled the fence and the pig over the semi-circle using foam adhesive. Mounted the heat embossed sentiment using foam adhesive. Adhered the flowers and a bird over the card to add elements.

Like I mentioned the last one is my favourite. Which one did you like more?

It was a pleasure having you here. Thank you for dropping by.

Slider card

Hello, Friends!!

My first attempt at a Slider card today.
Here are the pictures!!!

I have clicked the pictures on various backgrounds to highlight the effect.

I stamped the Piggy images and the fence from the Hog Heaven stamp set from My Favorite Things. Coloured and fussy cut them. Stuck the Piggies on a Slider panel. Then layered the Fence and Grass over it.  Stamped the sentiment on the slider strip.
Fussy cut few clouds and stuck on the base. Stamped flowers with white ink on the grass.
Layered the panel on the white CS and later on a base cardstock.
