Thank you - Flowers

Hello, Everyone!
Today begins a New challenge at the Craft Rocket challenge blog.

Theme for the month of September is "Something beginning with F"
As my DT inspiration, I made this card.

I Used F for Flowers as my clue.
For the card, I die-cut flowers using the Sizzlits decorative strip die - Loopy flowers. Also, die-cut some buttons using X-cut button die. On a black CS adhered the flowers with the buttons foam-mounted at their centres. Die-cut the sentiment twice from Sizzix Celebration words script thinlit dies and layered it over each other. Mounted it on the card. Lastly, added few sequins to add some element.

Happy Birthday LO

Hi, Friends!!
I have a new Birthday layout here today.

For this LO,
I began with marking the placement of the photograph which i die-cut using a stitched circle die. Die-cut another circle from a pattern paper from Perfectly plaid by LawnFawn. After adhereing the pattern paper and foam mounting the photograph in place, I stamped the sentiment "It's your day" on either side. Stamped colourful hearts and stars around the sentiment.

For the flowers, I have used the Altenew painted flowers stamp set. Stamped the flowers with various Lawnfawn inks and fussy cut them. Foam mounted the flowers around the photographs. Stamped the filler leaves around the flowers.

Stamped the sentiment from "Magical birthday" from Simon says Stamps. Mounted the sentiment on a black and glitter strip and adhered it in between the flowers.

Lastly, added colourful sequins around the layout to add some element.

 Few more pics...

Thank you for dropping by my blog. Would love to hear from you.

You are my sunshine - Aryan

Hi, Everyone!

One more card made by my son.
I am again blogging on his behalf as he is just 10years old.

For this card, he drew and cut the waves on blue shades of papers. He stamped and coloured the whales from Lawn Fawn "Whale you be mine" stamp set and I fussy cut them for him. On a white card panel, he stencilled the sun with the help of distress inks. (I was surprised to see him do this... never knew he knows all this :() Next, He mounted the stencilled paper on a white CS. Adhered the waves at the bottom overlapping each other. Stamped the sentiment at the bottom. Foam mounted the whale on the blue part. Lastly, Outlined the whale and some rays with 3D glitter outliner

Thank you for reading through the post.
Your kind encouraging words for him are welcome.

Glittery Thanks

Hello, everyone!

Today I am blogging on behalf of my 10-year-old Crafter :)

It really surprises me to see his keen interest and understanding in everything I do as generally, boys do not prefer crafting.
He is updated about all the new products, the brands, and many many techniques. I simply love it when on one of those days, he gets into the role of teaching me how to make a project...lol.... It is simply not possible to hide my supplies from him... so all the new products go into use starting from him... (and the best part is that nowadays his school craft/projects are also made using die-cuts, stamps, pattern papers...hahaha)

So today I decided to blog for the cards (one by one) he has made.

Here's a look of the card.

 For the card,

He die-cut a white ring and a blue circle with my DCAM stitched circle dies.

Stuck double sided tape to a white CS and die-cut the sentiment with the Pink and Main die. Poured the glitter over the sticky part of the sentiment.
Assembled it all on a gray CS with foam adhesive.
Added few sequins to complete the card.

(The card was done by him independently supported by my constant nagging, which he completely ignored... but I am glad to see the result...it couldn't have been better)

Few more Pictures

Thank you for taking out your time and reading through the post.
Do leave some kind encouraging words for my rockstar, if you liked the card.

Jungle Birthday Party

Hi, Peeps!
I have a very special project today on my blog.
A (shadow) box card depicting a Jungle Birthday party. A Perfect gift for any child.

Let us first see the project.

I began with making a shadow box with a cardstock. I have a tutorial here, for making the shadow box right from scratch.
I stamped the animal/cake/cap images with the "Stacking Animals" set from Simon Says stamp, Hippo from the "Hippo Birdie - Year Four" by Lawn Fawn, Cake from "Elphie Selfie" from LanFawn and Monkey/birthday cap from Craftyscrappers.

(How many animals could you find...?? :-D)

Coloured all the images and fussy cut them.

Die-cut the grass strips from "Grassy border" die from Lawn Fawn. Stamped the sentiment from "Magical Birthday" stamp set of Simon says stamp on a grass die-cut. Die-cut some leaves, butterflies and a bird-house.

Arranged and mounted all the elements on the shadow box created a Jungle scene. For the top, I cut few strips of paper to make a banner and wrote"PARTY" on it.
Filled in all the gaps with flowers from my stash.

Check this video

Friends, I know the post has a lot of pictures... I wanted to capture the entire feel of the Jungle scene..though I was still not happy with the effect :(

Any inputs and your valuable feedbacks are welcome.
