Jingle all the way (CDD)

Hi Friends!

I have a wintery CAS card today over the blog.
For this card I have used the Jingle digi from the Craftin Desert Divas store.

I masked off the card base except for the circle using the negative of a circle die-cut. Distressed the circular portion using various blue coloured DI.
Splattered drops of white paint.
Coloured the digi with zig markers and fussy cut it.
Adhered the digi on the distressed part.
Wrote the sentiment using black gel pen along the circular edge.

Thank you for dropping by.

January moodboard challenge (CDD)

Hi Friends!
Today I have an inspiration card for the January moodboard challenge at Craftin Desert Divas.

Here is the January moodboard
No automatic alt text available.

My card for the same.
The image used for the card is Ice-bear digital stamp from the store.

I Printed the digi on a watercolour paper, coloured it with zig markers and fussy cut the image. On a white card base I masked off the base with a scrap paer and distressed the top using various blue distress inks. Sprinkled with water and white paint. At the bottom masked area I wrote the sentiment and drew freehand snowflakes covering the entire area. Laslty, adhered the digi onto the card and added few sequins to complete the card.

Camping bear (CDD)

Hi Friends!

A very Happy New year to everyone!

I am super excited to be sharing my first card as the Digi DT member of Craftin Desert Divas

I am using the Camping bear digi for this card.

This is how I made my card-
I Printed the digi on Canson Montval watercolour paper.
Coloured the digi with zig clean brush markers.
Fussy cut the images.
On a white card base, I adhered all my fussy cut images.
Lastly, hand wrote the sentiment to complete the card.

Sparkled cards

Hello Friends!
A very Happy New year to all of you.
May this new year bring in more creativity and innovations your way.

A few weeks back, I received Some shades of Fairy Sparkles along with Texture paper and Tacky glue by Little Birdie.

These Fairy Sparkles are great for adding glitter to your projects. Being an ardent Cardmaker, I have made few CAS cards using these Sparkles.  But these Sparkles are versatile and can definitely be used on glass, wood and many more surfaces.

Onto my Cards.
I made three CAS cards using these sparkles.

CARD 1

For this card, I have used an intricate mandala die. On a pink coloured cardstock, I adhered double tape from one side. Keeping this side on top, I die-cut the mandala. Gently, peeling the backing paper of the double tape, I liberally covered the entire die-cut with Magenta sparkle. Lightly tapped the die-cut to remove any extra sparkle. On a pink side-fold card base, I adhered the die-cut using liquid adhesive. On a black strip, I heat-embossed the sentiment and mounted it across the die-cut using foam adhesive.

CARD 2

For this card, I took a 3.5"x6" white textured card from the paper pack by little birdie. I Distressed through a stencil using twisted citron distress ink. On a white side-fold card base, I adhered washi tapes along the lengths of the card. Mounted the distressed panel using foam adhesive. Die-cut the sentiment using green card with adhesive tape on the top. Covered the sentiment with sparkle and adhered it to the distressed area using liquid adhesive.

CARD 3

For this card, I have used star die-cuts with adhesive tape on top. Covered them with the sparkle. I printed the sentiment on a 3.5"x6" white card panel from the paper pack. Adhered this panel on a card base. Arranged and adhered the sparkled stars on the card making a pattern. With a black gel pen, drew the lines depicting the string and the knot.

That's all from my end today.
Hope you enjoyed my cards.

Would appreciate your feedback on the same.
Love Anila.

Guest Designing at Paru's card making

Hello Friends!
To begin with Wish you all a very Happy New year. May this year bring you lots of creativity and innovations.
I am super happy to be Guest Designing at Paru's Card Making Challenges.
I am sharing a Card and a Tag today.
My card and tag are based on the current theme of this month - New.

I am using a new stamp set here for both my projects.
Also, the sentiments used here are some googled quotations printed by me. The sentiments reflect the new beginnings and the new opportunities brought in by the New year.
Here's a look at them -

Over to my card -

My card is made using MFT (My Favorite Things) Happy Hedgehogs stamp set.
Stamped the images, Coloured them with Zig and fussy cut them.
On a white cardstock, I printed the sentiments.
Die-cut the sentiment panel using Stitched rectangular die.
On a card base, I adhered the pattern paper from MFT.
Mounted the rectangular die-cut on the base using foam adhesive.
Adhered the images on the card. Created the grass effect using pencil colours.

Tag made

To make this tag, I used the same MFT Hedgehog stamp set.
I stamped the image, coloured with Zig and fussy cut the image. On a white tag, I stamped the flower image from the same stamp set using green dye ink. Adhere the MFT pattern paper on the tag. Printed the sentiment and die-cut using the stitched rectangle. Mounted this sentiment on the PP using foam adhesive. Adhered the image on the tag. Lastly, added few sequins and tied the ribbons to the tag.

That's all from my end. Hope I was able to inspire you enough.
Happy Crafting.

The digi I have used for my project is the "Anita's butterfly".
Here's a link to the image.

I coloured the Digi with polychromos pencil colours. Die-cut the image using circle stitched die. On a white card base, I adhered the ochre card. I mounted the circle die-cut on the ochre card. Die cut a doily and cut it in 4 pieces. Inserted them under the image for cut. Added few flowers on the other end of the image. Lastly, added a sentiment to complete it.

Thank you for dropping by....
