Celebrate

Hi!
Today, I am sharing a card made for the Rerun challenge # 29 at the Winnie & Walter blog
My card here is inspired by a card made by Linda Nomura for the Rerun no. 28, in the month of March. You can find her card here
I loved the cute design made by her. The soothing colour combo and the addition of vellum created a good contrasting background to the black die-cut sentiment.
I decided to create a card using this idea.

Here are the cards
(Card by Linda on the left and card made by me on the right)

I have used a freebie from The Gossip column: Geometric generation digital elements.
I printed this on a white card panel. Using a craft knife, I cut some parts of the geometric design to create windows. Adhered this panel to a card base. Filled in these windows with pattern papers to create the background panel.
Stamped the critter and some balloons on a watercolour cardstock. Coloured them with Zig markers and fussy cut them.
I took a piece of vellum and adhered the images on to it. Adhered this vellum on the card base. Lastly, added the Celebrate cutaway at the bottom of the vellum to complete my card.

Few more pictures of my card.

Thank you for stopping by.

I Love Mom

Hi!
I have been creating some Mother's day cards for these last few days.
I would be sharing them over the week.

Here's my card for today.

I began by creating few roses and leaves using the Create-a-rose layered stencil by Craftyscrappers. Fussy cut the flowers and leaves. On a white card panel, I made a floral arrangement using the fussy cut images. Created levels by using foam under one flower. Added few floral fillers using some stamps and green ink. Die-cut the "Love" sentiment using Pink and Main die. Created some dimension by sticking few layers together. Adhered the die-cut on the card. Stamped the remaining sentiment using the brushed alphabet stamp set by Mudra. On a white card base, adhered this panel by adding strips of black and silver underneath. Lastly, added few dew drops to complte my card.

 That's all for today!
Looking for your genuine feedback on my card.

Keep checking back for few more Mother's day inspirations!

Thank you MOM

Hello friends...
I am sharing the first Mother's day card I made today.

Here's my card.

I have used the Elphie Selfie stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
Printed the sentiment on a card panel. Distressed some part using green and blue distress inks.
Stamped the images, coloured them and fussy cut them.
Arranged the images, stamped the tiny heart from the same stamp set using pink ink (Did second generation stamping alternately to create the shaded effect)
Mounted this panel on a card base using foam adhesive. Adhered the images in place.

Hope you like my card!

You're Awesome!

Hi!
My quick card for the current sketch challenge at MFT.

I have used the following MFT supplies -
Flashy Florals stamp set
Sentiment from Geometric Greenery
Dots and Stripes Sorbet paper pack (Die-cut circle)

Stamped the flowers and the leaves using dye inks. Fussy cut the images.
Die-cut a circle with a paper from the paper pack.
Heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.
Assembled all these on a white side-folding card base. Popped the sentiment and one flower to create some dimension. Lastly, added few enamel dots to complete the card.

Few more pictures.

Hello Sunshine

Hi!
I am back again with a couple of cards full of Spring, colours and sunshine.
I am using a stamp set called Sunny days from Pink and Main for these cards.
This is an awesome stamp set I recently bought from them.

Here's a look at my cards.

I stamped the sunrays stamp through a circular mask to give it a rounded effect. I used the solid cloud stamp with green dye ink to create the grass/land on the cards. Stamped the solid and outline sun to make some flowers on the grass. I stamped the outline again over the solid flowers to give it a definite look. Next stamped the clouds and shaded them with coloured pencil. Stamped the sentiments to complete the cards. Lastly, hand drew the stems and leaves for the flowers and coloured them.
One card is a one layer card with popped up flowers added to it. The other card has the panel foam mounted over a side folding card.
