I made this card for the hop combining two different digital images. 

Coffee love digital stamp and On your special day stamp. 

I laid the floral image across the cup image. Arranged the sentiment (again a combination of various sentiments) and printed it.

Colored the image using Zig markers. Foam mounted the panel on a colored card base.

4th International Women's Day - Instagram hop

  Hello friends, first of all wish you all a very Happy Women's day!

We have an fun and inspiring Women's day hop happening on Instagram. Check the end of this post for details.

My card for the day!!

Unity in Diversity!!

My card!

I have used various digital images by Angie Blom Digital Designs for my card here.

I printed them all on a watercolor paper, colored them with Zig markers and liquid watercolors. Fussy cut the images. 

I die-cut a semi-circle and loosely water colored it in green and blue to depict the world/earth. 

I then assembled all the images, on a white card, along a semicircle. Stuck them in place. 

Foam popped the earth over the images. 

Adhered this panel to a colored card base. 

Lastly, added the sentiment strip and a few hearts to complete the card.

Over to the Hop details

It started as a small initiative to empower and encourage women through our papercrafts back in 2019 and today we welcome you for our 4th Annual Women's Day Hop. Each year saw us being humbled by the tremendous support and encouragement we received from our crafting community. Not only new crafters but seasoned crafters also look forward to our hop. Such enthusiasm boosts our moral!

 Established brands have trusted us through years and continue to do so and we also have new brands interested in joining us, what can be more empowering than this ? We are very glad that 30+ brands are sponsoring our Hop this year and some joining the hop as Guest designers.

This year along with women empowerment, let’s also dedicate this hop towards psychological and social empowerment, as this is the need of the hour. No matter where you are and the circumstances you are in, just remember that you can always talk to people and know that you are not alone. We are all in this together.

I have made three cards for today.

CARD 1 - We do it Together (Using Count me in digital stamp)

For this card, 

• I printed the image along with the sentiment from the same stamp on Bristol smooth cardstock.
• I colored the images using Zig markers. 
• I then, fussy cut the image from all sides. 
• On a pale yellow card base, I adhered the image popping it up with a foam tape. 
• Lastly, added a few sequins and complete the card.

Card 2 - Happy Belated Birthday 4"x4" Mini card (Using Count me in digital stamp)

For this card,

• I printed only one half of the floral design 2 times on Bristol smooth cardstock.
• I colored the images using Zig markers. 
• I then, fussy cut the 2 images from all sides. 
• On 4"x4" white card base, I adhered the images flat on the two outer sides (facing inwards) 
• I printed the sentiment on a strip and foam mounted it in the center of the card.
• Lastly, added a few sequins and complete the card.

Card 3 - Happy Birthday (Using Refresh the soul digital stamp)

For this card,

• I printed only the bird image from the set on Bristol smooth cardstock.
• I used Concentrated Liquid watercolors to color the image. 
• I then, fussy cut the image. 
• On white card panel, I printed the sentiment, towards the bottom, from the same set. 
• I stencilled some sun rays on the top-left corner of the card panel.
• I layered two die-cut circles flat over the stencilled portion , bigger in white and smaller in yellow over it.
• Foam mounted the bird over the circles.
• Lastly, added a few sequins and complete the card.

Your kindness warms my heart | Altenew Paint-a-flower Rose | Altenew challenge

Hello friends,

Sharing a loose watercoloured card I made for the current Altenew inspiration challenge.

I have used Paint-a-flower Rose stamp set for my card here. Stamped it on a WC cardstock and coloured it using Liquid watercolours by Itsy bitsy. 

I let the colours flow all around to give it a loose look. I splattered the same colours all over the panel. 

Stamped the sentiment from the same set and adhered the panel over the card base.

Altenew Delicate blooms | Altenew challenge | Floral card

 Hello!!

I have been watercoloring a lot of florals lately experimenting different methods of coloring. This time I tried Loose watercoloring with liquid watercolors. 

I also wanted to play along with the Altenew challenge for this month so I used a stamp set by Altenew and colors mentioned in the moodboard.

I have used the stamp set called Delicate Bouquet. Stamped the image and colored it with the Liquid watercolors by Itsy Bitsy. After coloring the image, I did some coloring with the same shades around the image. I kept the card very simple to not lose focus from the flowers. Lastly, Stamped the sentiment.

Altenew year-in-review challenge

Altenew Fantasy Florals | Altenew challenge | Altenew Rose card

Hello friends!!!

Sharing a simple floral card here today. 

I call it simple as the awesome layering dies by Altenew has made the job super easy yet makes it look intricate and beautiful.

Here is the card!

I have used the Fantasy floral 3D die set by Altenew. 

I die-cut textured papers by DCWV with the layering dies and made the flowers. I picked up the colors from the November moodboard challenge. 

On a card base, I distressed some stripes to create the base for my flowers. I stamped the sentiment and then stuck the flowers in place. 

The sentiment is from the Altenew's Delicate Bouquet stamp set.

Finished the card with a few sequins.

Altenew Rosie Posy | Altenew mini stamp | Hello CAS card

 Helloo!

Sharing something on my blog after a very long time. I have still been crafting and sharing on my Instagram, but didn't have the mojo to share anything on here. 

Today I am sharing this CAS card following the current mood board from the Altenew challenge.

I have used the mini stamp set called Rosie Posy by Altenew. Stamped the image twice and colored them using Zig markers. I have created a blended look using the two moodboard colors - pink and purple. I fussy cut the two pieces. On a card base, I stamped the same image on the two sides using Fossilised Amber distress oxide. Stamped the sentiment. I foam mounted the fussy-cut images over the stamped images, roatating and adjusting the same so as to show the stamped image from under. 

I kept the card simple with no embellishments.
