Happy 1st birthday - Inkspirational # 177

Hello everyone!

ETA - The video tutorial on my YT channel for this card!

We are back with a new challenge over at Inspirational challenges.

Here is a set of cards I made for the new challenge where the theme is Word prompt - CASE
CASE a card made by you or by someone else.

I have Cased one of my own cards which I had made some time in the month of March.
You may find that card HERE

This card is one of THE most popular and THE most viewed card on my blog. I am so humbled by all the love it has received so far. I so love this card myself that I decided to make a couple of them more.

For the first card, I cased the design as it was on my original card. I have used the same Lawn Fawn stamps for it.
While the second card was made into a girly theme using stamps by Itsy Bitsy.
The basic construction of the card remains the same. You may please refer the original post tagged above for the reference.

That's all from my end!

Looking forward to seeing your entries in the gallery.

Always a reason to smile -Inkspirational challenge

Hello!
It's time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational challenges
The theme is using the photo prompt.

Here's the photo
and here is my card inspired by this photo.

I was inspired by a number of things in this photo the golden feathers, the berries, the candles and many more. Though when I actually went out to make this card, I came across this die set of two beautiful feathers. I have been having this die for quite some time now, but I have never used it. So I decided to make the card using this die. I used only one feather from the set.

I die-cut the feathers, twice with white cardstock and once in vellum. Sponged some glue at the tip of the white die-cuts and sprinkled glitter over it. I arranged the feathers together and tied them with a string. I looped a button die-cut in the string. Adhered this arrangement on a white panel. Foam mounted this panel on a white card base with a strip of gold under it. Adhered the sentiment with a gold strip. Lastly, added a few sequins.

Warm wishes

Hello!
A quick card for the Fall/winter coffee blog hop.

I have used a backing paper from my packet of Christmas embellishments by Itsy Bitsy. It was too pretty to be thrown away.
I foam mounted this on a Kraft card base.
Stamped and coloured the cups from stamp set by Itsy Bitsy again. Foam mounted it on the card.
Printed and adhered the speech balloon with the sentiment.
Embellished using few hearts, Holly leaf and cherries.

Thank you for stopping by.

Winter coffee - 1

Hello friends!

Here's a set of two coffee cards I made for the ongoing Fall/Winter Coffee lovers blog hop.

Do you love shaped card? I just adore them. I thought of making some coffee cup shaped cards. These are slider cards as in the inner part of the card is another flap that slides from under.
You will see how!

CARD 1

For the first card, I took a coffee cup template and cut it to shape. Covered it with a Christmassy pattern paper. I placed this panel on another cardstock and cut it to shape. On a scrap piece of paper, I printed the sentiment. Stamped the Holly leaves from the Colourific's Christmas minis stamp set. Foam mounted this part over the base.
I punched a hole through both the panels and held them together with a mini brad. Added two leaves under the brad.

CARD 2

For the second card, I stamped some images from Colourific's Christmas minis stamp set on a white panel. Trimmed it and one more panel in the coffee cup shape. I brushed black marker along the edges of the top panel to give it a defined look. Printed the sentiment on a piece of paper and trimmed it in shape. Stamped the holly leaves. Brushed markers along the edge of this strip too. Foam mounted this in place.
I punched a hole through both the panels and held them together with a mini brad. Added two leaves under the brad.

Put on a tutu and dance!

Hi!!
Today, I am sharing this CAS card I made using the stamp set named Tutu by @ CAS-ual Fridays.
I created this card using the spotlight technique.

For my card, I took a white card panel and masked it off using scrap papers to create the spotlight. Coloured the area using various distress inks and trying to create a focal area.
Stamped the sentiment on the panel.
Stamped the image on a cardstock and fussy-cut it. Adhered the image to the panel.
I added a few shadow details using pencil colours.
Foam mounted the panel on a side-folding card base.

Here's a few more clicks!

Thank you!

Merry Christmas (Inkspirational)

Good morning friends!
I have a quick card for the Inkspirational challenge going live today.

Theme is Anything Christmas.
Here's my card

I have used all the snowflake stamps from my stash. I made this card along with my previous card full of snowflakes in gold.
You can view that card over here.

I stamped all the snowflakes randomly using various Lawn Fawn dye inks on a white panel.
Once dry, I drew the string and bow for each snowflake.
I diecut the alphabets using MFT alphabet dies. Stamped "Merry" on a piece of cardstock.
Assembled them all on the panel.
Foam mounted the panel on a card base with a contrasting green strip running under it.
Lastly added colour coordinating sequins on all the snowflakes.

Thank you for stopping by.
Looking forward to seeing your entry in the Inkspirational gallery.

Gold Snowflakes!!

Hello everyone!
I was MIA here at the blog for quite some time now, but I have been actively making cards and sharing them over my Instagram.
You can check out all of them here if you like.

Sharing another Christmas card today, which I made inspired by the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge where the theme is Shades of Gold.

Here's my card!

This happened when I came across this beautiful card made by my friend Sandie from London days. She is one awesome CAS queen. You must check her out.

Over to my card!
I hunted all the snowflake stamps from my entire Christmas stamp collection. On a white card panel, I stamped all the snowflakes randomly covering the top portion of the panel, in Versamark ink. Stamped the sentiment at the bottom using Versamark.  Heat embossed them all using Ranger's Gold embossing powder.
On a white card base, I foam mounted this panel with a Gold strip running under it. Lastly, embellished the card with gold sequins.

Sharing a few more clicks as I was not able to avoid the glare as it was gold!
Hope you are able to see it clearly.

Thank you!
