Women's day card!!!

Hello, Everyone!!!

My first DT post for Fabrika Fantasy!!!

The March challenge at Fabrika Fantasy is up and the theme is "For the girls"

Fabrika fantasy store has got some amazing collections of images. Do check them all out.
When I began to work on this topic the first thought that came to my mind was that we celebrate Women's day in March. And as the theme was little closer to this thought I decided to build my card for the Women's day.

I picked up this image called Fire fairy. It is an image of a girl with beautiful wings and her arms wide-open
I coloured the image using basic pencil colours. The wings were coloured in yellow-orange shades to get the fiery effect.

I then prepared my background by blending blue, green and brown distress inks together. I picked up a quotation from the google (source unknown) which somehow reflected my image and my theme. Distressed the quote with the same colours as the background. I mounted this on a piece of a piece of black cardstock.

Assembled the image and the quotation on the distressed background cardstock. Added the sentiment again with a black lining.

Lastly, I mounted this entire piece of paper on a Black cardstock. Added 2 strips of washi tape and few black beads to add element.

Thank you for dropping by my blog. Do leave some love below in the comments. I love to read them out.
