I made this simple floral card today using an Altenew stamp set.
The stamp set is called Simple roses. I stamped the images from the set, colored them with Zig markers. Added few details with Faber castell Polychromos and fussy cut them.
On a card base, I added a strip of deckled edge pattern paper.
Stamped the sentiment in place and then assembled the flowers/leaves.
It is a color theme this fortnight, where we challenge you to use Red, Blue and white on your cards.
Here is my card!!
I have used MFT Scribble roses dies. I watercolored scrap papers using my Zig markers. Die-cut the roses from Gold foiled cardstock. Adhered the roses over the watercolored papers. Fussy cut the paper as per the rose outline. Added some shading to the petals using more colors.
On a card base, I stencilled some texture paste. Stamped the sentiment, and assembled the roses over the stencilled part. I also added some twine under the roses to add some interest. Lastly, popped some sequins.
Theme this fortnight is Father's day/ Masculine cards.
Here is my card for the same.
I used a washi tape stamp by Time for Tea designs to stamp some random strips on a card base. I used grey, blue and green colors to get the masculine effect.
I die-cut multiple stars in various shades of blue, white and grey using nesting star dies by Gina-Marie
Stamped the sentiment and the tiny stars. Adhered the stars by interlocking them with each other and popping a few of them on double tape.
Sharing a simple CAS designed card today using Newton's nook Roses stamp set. This is my most favorite and most used stamp set by NND. I love how you can use this stamp in various ways.
You can check my previous posts HERE and HERE to see how I have used it.
Stamped and watercolored it with Zig markers.
Added details using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
On a card base, I added various sized/colored strips of paper. Stamped the sentiment. Foam mounted the rose. Added few sequins.
After quite some time I am sharing a card with a cute critter. Lately, I am obsessed with Florals. But this stamp set called Tweet friends by MFT was a temptation.
Finally I decided to use it for the current MFT sketch challenge
I die-cut the Balloon and watercolored it in Pink (It turned out to be a bit gaudy for me but I left it as it is.) To tone down the color and add some interest, I stencilled some texture paste on the balloon. On a card base, I stencilled some clouds and grass using distress inks/oxides. Adhered the balloon, string and the bow. I stamped the images and coloured using Zig markers and Polychromos. Fussy the images and arranged on the card to create the scene.
